Poco antes del fin del mundo, Cristo retornar\u00e1 en el aire y se llevar\u00e1 con \u00e9l a todas las personas &#8211; vivas y muertas &#8211; que hayan confiado en Cristo como su Salvador. Estos ser\u00e1n los creyentes, a los cuales el Ap\u00f3stol Pablo se refiere en su 1ra carta a los Corintios, cuando les dice: &#8220;Los muertos en Cristo F\u00edjense bien en el misterio que les voy a revelar: No todos moriremos, pero todos seremos transformados, en un instante, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, al toque final de la trompeta. Pues sonar\u00e1 la trompeta y los muertos resucitar\u00e1n con un cuerpo incorruptible, y nosotros seremos transformados. Porque lo corruptible tiene que vestirse de lo incorruptible, y lo mortal, de inmortalidad. 1 Corintios 15:52.53resucitar\u00e1n primero, luego nosotros los que vivimos, los que hayamos quedado, seremos arrebatados juntamente con ellos (los muertos en Cristo), en las nubes para recibir al Se\u00f1or en el aire&#8221;(1 Tesal. 4:17). El Rapto suceder\u00e1 en &#8220;un abrir y cerrar de ojos&#8221; (1 de Corintios 15:52).
