The holiday grind in Call of Duty never really lets up, so if you have been no-lifing prestige or farming the Naughty & Nice rewards, you are probably already wondering what is next and maybe even eyeing a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby to keep the pace up. Looking at how Activision usually handles things, Season 1 Reloaded for Black Ops 7 and Warzone lines up almost perfectly with the end of the CODMAS event, so 6 January 2026 is the date most players are circling. Updates for this series tend to land around 11 am CT, which is 12 pm ET and 5 pm GMT, so it is worth freeing up disk space the night before and planning for a chunky download.
Multiplayer Maps And Modes

Multiplayer is where a lot of people will feel the change straight away. Treyarch looks set to lean hard on nostalgia by bringing back Meltdown from Black Ops 2, which a lot of old heads still talk about, plus Fringe for that classic lanes-and-sightlines feel. On top of that there is a tight new map called Yakei that should favour fast camos and close-range gunfights. The new mode, Takeover, sounds like a spin on the usual objective grind, with control points shifting once you cap them, so teams that rotate early will do well while people who camp are going to get left behind pretty fast.
Returning Gear And Loadouts

One thing that will matter if you played Black Ops 6 a lot is that a bunch of familiar tools are not getting left in the past. Gear like the Shock Charge is set to come back, which means more ways to lock down tight corners and force bad peeks. The War Machine scorestreak returning is also big, because it changes how people push hills and hardpoints when that thing is active. Instead of starting your grind from scratch, you will be able to slot a lot of your old favourites straight into BO7 loadouts, so the jump between games will feel smoother for people who live in Create-a-Class menus.
Zombies And Endgame Content

Zombies players are not stuck on repeat runs either. Astra Malorum is getting a Directed Mode, which should help people who like chasing Easter eggs but hate having to alt-tab to watch guides every five minutes. Zarya Cosmodrome getting a full Survival Mode will scratch that classic high-round itch, where your only real goal is to see how long your squad's nerves last. On the campaign side, the Endgame content is getting the Wraith Wing world event, where you go after a cloning VTOL that sounds like it is built to mess with you. There is also a new Phantom skill track focused on stealth and crit damage, so players who prefer to sneak and hit hard will have a new tree to work through.
Fallout Crossover And Warzone Tweaks

The big crossover hook this time is Fallout, which lines up nicely with the second season of the show dropping and should pull in people who bounce between both worlds. Expect operator skins based on Lucy, The Ghoul and Maximus, plus a Nuketown variant that leans into the series' retro apocalypse vibe and will probably turn into the new go-to warmup map. Warzone itself is not getting a full overhaul since the huge integration just landed, but Ultra Fast Resurgence will speed things up for players who hate downtime, and new anomalies popping up around the map will keep squads guessing about rotations and power positions, especially for anyone looking to buy BO7 Bot Lobbies and steamroll lobbies for a few nights.
